by admin477351

In a significant diplomatic engagement, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed participated in a phone call with US President Donald Trump and several regional leaders to address the escalating conflict with Iran. The talks focused on diplomatic measures to alleviate tensions and enhance cooperation in the Gulf, a region currently facing significant instability.

Among the leaders who joined the discussion were Bahrain’s King Hamad, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, and Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir. The collective effort aimed to find a pathway to peace while strengthening regional alliances.

This dialogue comes at a crucial time as the United States has indicated progress in its negotiations with Iran. Officials have hinted that a potential agreement could be on the horizon, signaling a possible breakthrough in the protracted conflict.

Since the conflict’s inception on February 28, the UAE and other Gulf nations have been subjected to repeated missile and drone attacks attributed to Iran. Although a temporary ceasefire had previously paused the hostilities, the resurgence of these attacks has reignited concerns about security and stability in the region.
