Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman unveiled the 98th Academy Awards nominations this evening, with two filmmakers dominating the field. Ryan Coogler and Paul Thomas Anderson saw their films receive the most comprehensive recognition.

The domination of the field by both filmmakers came through extensive nominations across categories. Coogler’s “Sinners” dominated with recognition in directing, cinematography, production design, sound design, and multiple acting categories. The breadth of acknowledgment validates his artistic vision.

Anderson’s “One Battle After Another” dominated equally through nominations in directing, adapted screenplay, acting, cinematography, and sound design. The film’s Golden Globes momentum continued with strong Academy support across all branches.

Other films in the field include “Marty Supreme,” featuring Timothée Chalamet’s nominated performance. “Hamnet,” “Sentimental Value,” and “Frankenstein” also earned recognition. However, “Homebound” was absent from the field with zero nominations.

The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles hosts the 98th Academy Awards on March 15. The ceremony will air at 7 p.m. ET on ABC, where field-dominating nominees will compete for ultimate victory.
